Did I Really Do That?

I just finished posting the 23rd and last chapter of Science Quest Camp, and on a whim decided to check how long the fic is altogether. 40K+ words.
I never thought I would write anything as long as that. Good, bad or middling is besides the point, the sheer quantity says how important this story was, is, for me.

Don't read it unless you're into that kind of stuff. It's not just spanking, you know. Not for everybody. And you;re reading so much of what I write anyway :).

Some stories want to be written, I know the feeling. And congratulations, the longer the better (fiction that is). I often don't even bother to read too short stories because if that thing is good I want more, more, more, three hours straight read I do want. And not getting it makes me grumpy. (Un)fortunately, I haven't read this story though.

I'm not sure you should read it. It is really a minority taste.
But yes, some things want to be written, and I'll be visting this verse again and again, I know, because I need to.

Yes, I understand the need to write about certain traumatic or imprinting events in one's life. Even if it's not certain if one doesn't get even more fixated on it instead of resolve the issue at last...
The icon - wish they had ever stood that close together in real. And what do you mean with celebrate? Essay? About...what? *lange Leitung*

Celebrate that you're back? That school has started? That ... well, anything, really. Essay was just a way to say that whatever you write I'll be happy to read it, doesn't have to be fanfic. Because so far everything I've read written by you was very interesting. This may be related to you not writing overmuch, but is more probably due to you being a person who thinks deeply.
