Mistake /ETA

RL is busy today so I'll answer with calm later (or, possibly, tomorrow) but the thought that I may give any of you legal problems really, seriously freaked me out. Italy doesn't keep public lists of sex offenders, but I know many other countries do.
Let me just add that the warning I received was extremely friendly an not at all offensive. I am always amazed by the warmth, support and kindness this community offers. Thank you all so much.

Slash has been around for decades.
So called "chan" has been around for ages. There have been fanzines PRINTED and SOLD with that content.
If there is a country where it is illegal to own things that could be seen as p*dophilia, then a person living there can do simply one thing to keep her hands clean: not DOWNLOAD it. Just read it and click away again. It's her decision alone. Nothing on LJ is ON your computer harddisk, it's all in cyberspace.
The person who told you this seems not to get the difference.
Therefore, Dami, don't listen and do what you want - (my personal opinion about this you know already).

Thank you for the feedback. In Italy, however, in some cases people have been investigated for pedophilia for clicking (not downloading) child porn images. So it is not one hundred per cent true that just clicking is no danger, and that's I think why I freaked out.

Still, I think I'm more confident about it. I'm asking feedback about appropriate wording to fit with lj terms of service in a different post.

And I particularly appreciate the fact that you support my right to write stuff you do not intend to read.

I hope (when I finally write it, which is not soon) that you will read my post about why I think some sexual contact with minors may not, in my extremely ignorant personal opinion, lead to damage to said minor. I'm looking forward to your comments.

Then I recomment you don't ILLUSTRATE your story.
Is "Lolita" forbidden in Italy? If not you have nothing to fear.

No, I'm not illustrating anything LOL. As if I could. Which doesn't mean I can't visualize things :).

Thanks for the selfless encouragement.
