Notes:
mmom Day 28. Unbeta'd. Post-ep drabble for 7x23. ETA: Many thanks to
menolly_au for improving my English.
Summary: It could have been worse.
The painkiller wasn't working. He looked at his phone on the bedside table: 2.13 am. No call from the police. Or House.
Which meant he probably wasn't dead, or they would have found him. He closed his eyes and sunk into recollection. He could still feel House's weight on his arm, the beating of his heart under the fingers of the right hand. The sweaty smell of his skin, the warmth seeping through the thin hospital gown, the slight tickling of his stubble.
At least he’d broken his right wrist, Wilson thought as he slipped his hand inside his boxers.

(compliments my own mood perfectly).

And Wilson's definitely touch deprived, like too many people in our society.

Date: 2011-05-28 10:37 am (UTC)Yeah, that was my first thought about his injury. Um, not about THAT, exactly, but it's definitely an added bonus. Great incorporation of canon into the MMOM theme.

Date: 2011-05-28 11:04 am (UTC)I wonder - do we know if the wrist is broken/sprained whatever? Anybody able to tell from what was happening in the ambulance?
(tiny english note 'sunk in recollection' should probably be 'sunk into recollection')

Date: 2011-05-28 03:40 pm (UTC)Definitely. And no, I didn't precisely get what happened to Wilson's wrists. Normally it shouldn't get broken so easily (he isn't post-menopausal yet, LOL).
Thank you for the kind comment.
(note) I try hard to think my fics in English, but I don't always manage - that was sprofondare nei ricordi and I struggled very hard with the translation. Thanks! You know I'm always grateful to you patient native speakers helping me know your beautiful language better and better.
