Amber's mouth was open, and her moans filled his ears. He slid inside, where all was warm and moist and inviting, and he felt muscles contracting around his cock. Her eyes, which had been looking at his until now, closed in pleasure, and she leaned back her head.

He couldn’t see her mouth anymore, but he could hear her voice, now speaking in that deep, fascinating tone of hers that always sent shivers through his back. “Yes, James, yes. Yes. Stronger. Faster. It's one of those threads the shows left hanging; we knew that Wilson and Amber had videos, but we weren't told what he did with them. Whether he deleted them, or just stored them on a memory stick in the attic, or...well, this.

I don't think they mentioned it. Amber went from someone Wilson kept talking to while in bed (which helped me feel not too OoC while writing this fic) to completely forgotten in a very sudden way.

Wow, this was incredibly hot! Like cuddyclothes said, definitely nice to read some het sex for a change. I definitely felt as though this was a bit sad though, because even in his self-pleasure you've really described his love and appreciation of Amber, and how much he misses her. The way House delivered the gift to Wilson was very in character and the gift was far more thoughtful than it appeared on the surface; you really illustrated that with the last line. Also, I really like the fact that you mentioned what was done with the videos.

It's canon that he misses her, and it's my idea that he would miss her physically as well as intellectually. Plus, there were those tempting videos no-one was using (they haunt me - I wrote a [long_and_boring] fic in which Wilson adds his videos with House to the collection and finally gives the laptop as a present to Thirteen).

It's great you interpreted the last line as I wrote it, namely not as a sign of indifference but of respect for Wilson's mourning.

Oh my! That's a very different take on the House/Wilson/Amber situation. I like the duality of House...giving Wilson the gift, but also wanting some dirty details, and then (perhaps) realizing he doesn't.

It is my opinion that House asked about it so as to nudge Wilson into using it. And he doesn't want to be jealous of Amber again, which is why he doesn't ask anymore.
I'm still bothered that those videos vanished into nothing.
