Are you sure it's the last season? I keep hoping it isn't, although it is likely indeed.
once House is over I'm going to miss it terribly and be in a depressed funk for a while.
I definitely am optimistic that we will have fanfic for a very, very long time. Plus, I can always re-read and re-watch. The only thing I would miss would be the end of this comm, which I found very welcoming (it's not the same for everyone, I've probably been very very lucky).
