I Left My Heart In San Francisco

Thursday
There's a sex toy store in Munich Airport. Spent one hour looking at the dildos and other insertables, dreaming pervert fics.
Chocolate_frapp picks me up at SFO. I recognize her even before I see the awesome WilsonDuck drawing she's made for me.
Late Indian dinner, so good. I get to meet roomie. He's taller than House.
Friday
Bought iPad in the US. Saved money. Applestore scary.
Dim Sum for lunch, not in Chinatown. Awesome and incredibly cheap.
I have a new favorite bookstore, and many new books.
Sushi dinner.
Saturday
Peach and ginger Pancakes for brunch. Need I say more?
Sunday
Mission and Castro tour, with karaokegal and her spouse as guides. For the first time in my life I'm offered pot to buy - I don't. Murals. Views.
Oysters, and my first encounter with crab cakes, clam chowder and unsweetened lemonade: revelatory.
The Mint. Yanni sings two songs in Italian for me. Kgal sings Gloria, chocfrap Bohemian Rhapsody.
Lucky Thirteen is not a character but a groovy bar, full of dogs.
Monday
More oysters in the ferry building - food with a view. Plus a very large gelato.
Mexican dinner in Alameda. Tasty, cheap and too much for me to finish.
Chocfrap impresses me with a sundae. We're so hyper with food we get down at the wrong stop from the bus.
Tuesday
Chez Panisse. I love Chez Panisse. Feel free to think I'm a snob. The warm plum tarte with ice scoop is orgasmic.
Berkeley feels like home, yet chocfrap shows me places and cupcakes I didn't know.
We mourn the Black Oak bookstore together.
Swimming in the pool. How cool is it to live somewhere with a pool?
Takeout Chinese dinner.
Wednesday
Time has flown and it's time to pack already.
We share a last breakfast at the boulangerie, then spend a relaxed day eating leftovers and talking uninterruptedly.
I hear chocfrap's plot bunnies, we discuss the characters and the actors and the writers and our youth and vibrators and we're both surprised at how happy we've been, how beautiful and natural being together was. Or at least I am. I feel so lucky about all the awesome people I got to meet in RL this week.
Chocfrap comes with me to the Bart.
Saying goodbye is not hard: it is obviously an arrivederci, not an addio.
It's 2am as I type this on the plane to Boston, and it's now being posted from a Starbucks. Sorry chocfrap. Picspam will follow, now I have to run.
