Part of me wants to urge you to add a collar and handcuffs too, the tiny pervert living inside me that is.
As a Brit, do you have any idea why there would be fireworks and loud music across the street from me?
Other than "your neighbours are assholes", sorry, no, there is no good reason at this time of year. I hope they're at least playing good music.
