International Women's Day

When I was a teenager, on March 8th I used to celebrate Women's Day. I would go out to dinner with all my female friends, and the cheap restaurants were full of female-only tables, with lots of drinking and laughter. 
It was also an occasion to stop and remember the progress women have made (from contraception to education).
Now it seems forgotten, but I still want to wish Happy Women's Day to all the women (and feminist men - I'm thinking of you dissonata!) who are reading here.
